Privacy Policy

Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored securely, never in plain text) when you sign up.

Billing information: when you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are collected and processed by our payment processor, Cashfree — AlertSpy does not store your full card details on our own servers.

Monitoring data: the URLs, hosts, ports, keywords, and other targets you configure AlertSpy to check, plus the results of those checks (uptime history, response times, incident timelines).

Usage data: how you interact with the dashboard, IP address, browser/device information, and similar technical data, collected automatically to keep the Service reliable and secure.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service (running your checks, delivering alerts);
• Process payments and manage your subscription;
• Communicate with you about your account, incidents, and service updates;
• Improve and secure the Service, including detecting abuse; and
• Comply with legal obligations.

We don't sell your personal information. We share information only with: payment processors (Cashfree) to complete billing; infrastructure and hosting providers that run the Service on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations; and authorities where required by law. If you publish a status page, any information you choose to include on it (incident notes, monitor names) is visible to whoever you make that page public to — that's a choice you control.

We keep account and monitoring data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward in case you reactivate or as required for legal, billing, or dispute-resolution purposes. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see "Your Rights" below).

Depending on where you're located, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update most account information directly from your dashboard, or contact us to exercise these rights — we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe and in line with applicable data protection law.

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We don't use cookies for third-party advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working correctly.

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and regular review of our infrastructure — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to minimize risk and will notify you if a breach affects your data, as required by law.

AlertSpy is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.

Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including India, where our infrastructure and team are based. Where required, we take steps to ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
